A new home for an active family in a former manufacturing district presents a simple formality to the street. Then it then opens up into a light-filled home for bustling activity and easy indoor/outdoor living.
A light-filled atrium soars at the center of this 8k square foot home, where family gathers for informal dining, cooking, and entertaining. Spaces unfold, gradually becoming less formal as they reach the back and outdoor areas. At the basement level, a gym opens directly to the lawn. Above, a primary bedroom suite opens to a private zen courtyard.
This house has a playfulness that is like a special secret - the facade gives nothing away.
